Good for a single cup of tea or a French press. Although the power is about 900 W, it starts cycling off once it reaches 94 °C, so it doesn't burn out even with little water at the bottom. The walls aren't insulated, so it cools faster; for a Hario V60 I'd leave it on the base to hold temperature. Last thing: because it's low-powered, the lights don't dim, the fuses don't trip and my EcoFlow portable inverter doesn't cut out. Not for kids: it's easy to scald yourself, and if overfilled it spills while boiling.

Worth the price. The only minus: the manual's instructions for muting the sounds were wrong. You have to press temperature-up and the off button at the same time to turn the sounds off (the manual gave a different combination that doesn't work).

For the price, I think this kettle is pretty good. I've set it to different temperatures and, judging by how my coffee tastes, they seem accurate. The basic design is partly similar to my Timemore Fish, but the plastic here looks noticeably cheaper. Below 90° you can only adjust in 5° steps. And I hate the beep. The manual says you can turn it off, but that doesn't work for me.
Ich glaube, dass für dieses Preis der Wasserkocher ziemlich gut ist. Ich habe es auf verschiedene Temperaturen gestellt und vom Geschmack meines Kaffees nehme ich an, es stimmt. Der Grundaufbau ist z.T. ähnlich wie in meinem Timemore Fish. Das Plastik hier sieht aber deutlich billiger. Und die Temperaturen unter 90° kann man nur nach 5° Stufen regulieren. Und zusätzlich hasse ich den Klangton. In dem Anleitung steht es, man kann das ausschalten. Es funktioniert aber bei mir nicht.

Very nice kettle, the water flows really smoothly and the temperature selection is easy to use. The handle is pleasant to hold and the water flows out with a little tilt. Good for precision pouring. Also features like "keep warm" and memory (keeps in same temp if you pour and put it to the base again) are really nice. Also the bottom of the kettle is cool so it can be put onto table. There are few nitpicks. For example, there is no mute button and it plays a sound every time you put it on, press a button, finished boiling the water, etc. The base is quite wide compared to the kettle. The lid is a bit stiff. The water boils pretty slowly (approx 1 kW). Overall, it's a really pleasant kettle. There are few rough edges, but once you get used to it, it becomes a really nice way to make coffee.
