How to brew
Barista tips
1Ground coffee loses its aroma within minutes. Whole beans keep it locked in until the last second.
2Boiling water burns the sweet notes. Let the kettle rest 30 seconds after it clicks.
3Espresso 1 : 2 (18 g in, 36 g out), filter 1 : 16. Sour? Grind finer. Bitter? Coarser.
4Keep the bag closed in a dark cupboard and finish it within about a month of opening.

Funky Beans
Rich notes of chocolate and caramel unfold, accompanied by a refreshingly acidic hint of apples and lemons… Let yourself be enveloped by this wave of delightful sweetness!
From the Colombian region of Huila, famous the world over for its unique specialty coffees, green coffee beans travel to Vancouver, Canada, where the headquarters of “Swiss Water® Decaf” are located. Once there, the beans are decaffeinated using one of the most advanced decaffeination technologies in the world, which bears the name of the company that developed it.
During the incredibly subtle decaffeination process, nothing but pure water is used. Green coffee beans are submerged in warm water, which causes the caffeine and flavour particles to dissolve. Once that’s done, a new batch of beans is immersed in this liquid: this time around, however, caffeine dissolves, yet the taste of the beans is preserved thanks to the flavour-saturated water. As a result, up to 99.9% of caffeine is successfuly removed from the coffee, while its aromas and flavours remain pretty much intact. Such gentle, delicate decaffeination is only applied to specialty coffees of the highest quality, attesting to the exceptional character of the Colombian varietals in this blend.
